Meggie Greivell

Artistic Director

Training: Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts (Cum Laude) - University of Wisconsin-Parkside, (U.S.) - 2007-2011,

Meggie Greivell hails from the state of Wisconsin in the United States. She received a B.A. in Theatre Arts in 2011 and worked in the theatre industry in Minneapolis, Minnesota for 10 years before she decided to move across the world to Scotland in the pursuit of a masters degree and adventure.

Select Directing credits include: THE BASSET TABLE by Susanna Centlivre, WHEN WE ARE YOUNG AND UNAFRAID by Sarah Treem (Persistent Theatre Productions), THE BERNICE PROJECT by Debbie and Meggie Greivell (Fledgling Arts Nest), TENDER OFFER by Wendy Wasserstein (Theatre Unbound).

Associate Director credits: The History Theatre, Theatre Unbound, Workhaus Collective and Theatre Pro Rata.

Prick is Meggie’s directorial debut in Scotland and her first show in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Meggie is very excited to be a part of Light the Match Productions. As a director she loves bringing buried stories to light.
